Maurice Jones-Drew won't be handed starting job

Running back Maurice Jones-Drew, who signed a three-year contract with the Raiders, said he was told by the team he's coming in to compete for playing time, reports ESPN.com.

"We have different running abilities," Jones-Drew told reporters, referring to Darren McFadden. "But the competition is what's going to make us better. We'll push Oakland Raiders Rolando McClain Jersey each other."

The Raiders are high on second-year back Latavius Murray, who missed last season with an ankle injury, the report said.
